Meet Jaya

Hi my name is Jaya, I am the founder of Enlighten News, and I LOVE a good story. Ever since I was a kid I always wanted to tell stories, my first book was about a monkey called Harry Nick who went on many adventures, and now I get to fulfill my 6 year old self’s dream!

I’m currently studying Journalism & Politics while doing a little bit of freelancing on the side.

Ever since I’ve started freelancing I’ve learnt how much the spin gets in the way of the story, so Enlighten was born to combat that.

So, whether it be politics or pop culture if there’s a good story I’m there, people are at the centre of what I do.

In my free time you’ll find me reading, writing, dancing going to the latest film or spending time with my friends gaming.
